Chris Silberberg

Chris supports IDC's telco transformation research in EMEA, with a core focus on telco technology strategies for BSS/OSS, cloud, and AI/ML, and business strategies for talent, sustainability and structure. He is a research professional with more than five years' experience in the telecoms industry across IDC, Omdia and Informa. He started his career covering NFV/SDN and the future of broadband. He is a regular conference and webinar speaker, and has appeared at MWC, Digital Transformation World, AI Summit New York, Broadband World Forum, and Africa Com.
Chris has authored numerous reports on telecoms IT and network software, including on converged charging, partner management, talent management, and AI/ML. He has a bachelor's degree in ancient history from Durham University, plays the tenor horn in his local brass band, and hosts occasional pub quizzes for family, friends, and colleagues.
